Capacity: 12 students

This course is designed for the intermediate student who wishes to embellish/decorate their forms. Open to wheel throwers, hand builders and sculptors. A variety of 2D and 3D techniques for greenware and bisqueware will be introduced such as (but not limited to) sprigging, sgraffito, majolica, wax resist and slip trailing. Composition, style and design basics will be discussed throughout. The class includes open studio. You will have access to both the potter’s wheel and all other equipment at the studio.

Each student will end with over 20 test tiles as well as some cup sized cylinders.
